Daya loves to read. While she’s not reading, writing about reading, or thinking about reading, she is most likely selling her soul to the 9 to 5 gods as a marketer for a small health care consulting company.
Daya was a precocious child and first started sounding out words in preschool, instantly engaging in a torrid affair with Dr. Suess when the other children had naptime.
Her older sister encouraged her reading addiction and introduced her to the best genre that exists: Fantasy. Thus Daya whiled away her teen years immersed in other worlds and third dimensions.
As she got older, her family connections in publishing allowed her to read more than her own wallet would allow, occasionally even handing over revered Advance Reading Copies.
When Daya is not reading, her self therapy includes the aforementioned reading, television, and nightcaps. She is also allergic to cats, the outdoors in general, her (almost) brother-in-law, and she really dislikes static cling. Daya is not right handed.
You can contact Daya for whatever reason (but preferably about books) at dayapillaiATgmailDOTcom. She can also be found meandering Wonderlands, visiting the Dragon Federation, tweeting about nothing in particular, or googling words she made up.
